Prenatal Chiropractor St George Utah
How you carry weight during your pregnancy prepares and shapes your body for the birthing process.
What makes Prenatal Chiropractic different?
TruHealth’s Prenatal Chiropractor St George adjustments differ from both NUCCA and Typical Chiropractic adjustments. When adjusting, there is a certain technique that must be used to ensure the safety and wellbeing of both the mother and the unborn baby.
The Webster Technique is the approved certified technique with the goal of reducing the effects of sacral subluxation. This helps the neuro-biochemical functions of the pelvis.

Welcome to TruHealth. You took the first step and we want to make sure you know exactly what to expect.
Your first visit is all about understanding you and gathering your puzzle pieces: your history, your symptoms, and what may be driving them. Here is how it unfolds:
1. Consultation:
We sit down and listen. We want the full picture of your Chief Complaints and your goals.
2. Chiropractic Exam:
We examine your posture, movement, and other possible imbalances to identify visible signs of spinal misalignment.
3. Cone Beam CT & Precision X-rays
Following the chiropractic exam , precision imaging will be taken to confirm if you indeed have a spinal misalignment. This also rules out other more serious conditions. ( Imaging is not done on prenatal patients or children under the age of 6)
4. Neurological Scans
We use these Neuro Scans to see how your Brain and nervous system are effected by the spinal misalignments. We measure Stress, Inflammation, and muscle spasm with these scans.
5. Digital Range of Motion
We will measure the Range of motion of the head and Neck, as well as your coordination of your head on top on your neck.

NUCCA is a specialized chiropractic technique that focuses on adjusting the upper cervical spine.
The main differences of NUCCA, is that it is GENTLE, SPECIFIC , and longer LASTING than traditional chiropractic. With NUCCA we DON’T GUESS! Dr. Shane Preece will take x-rays that allows him to measure accurately a misalignment of the ATLAS down to the DEGREE. Alignment of atlas will allow the entire spine and body to correct itself. The correction is not the typical crack and pop, but instead just a light pressure. You don’t have to push hard if you know EXACTLY where and how to push. With a corrected misalignment, the body innately heals. Come see a Prenatal Chiropractor St George Utah today!
Yes. NUCCA is one of the safest forms of chiropractic care during pregnancy. There is no twisting, cracking, or forceful manipulation- just a gentle, precise correction at the base of the skull that is safe at every stage of pregnancy.
Pregnancy shifts your center of gravity, increases stress on the pelvis and lower back, and causes significant hormonal and postural changes. Upper cervical misalignment during this time can amplify discomfort, disrupt nervous system function, and create unnecessary stress on both mother and baby.
The earlier the better. Starting care in the first trimester allows your body to adapt and maintain alignment as it changes. However, patients benefit from NUCCA care at any stage of pregnancy, even in the third trimester.
Many patients report shorter labor times and more manageable deliveries after consistent prenatal chiropractic care. A properly aligned spine and pelvis supports optimal nerve communication between the brain and uterus, which plays a direct role in labor progression.
Absolutely. The postpartum period is one of the most important times for spinal care. Delivery places significant stress on the mother’s upper cervical spine, and hormonal changes keep ligaments loose for months afterward. Continuing care after birth helps the spine stabilize, supports recovery, and addresses the physical demands of nursing and newborn care.
